Folks,
 
For those going on Saturday, Runners should be at the course by 8:30 AM.  They close the course at 9:45 so we will have about an hour to walk the course and get everyone stretched and ready to go.  FYI please see the information below.  I don't think it should impact us but wanted you to be aware.  See everyone on Saturday.

Subject: Meet of Champions

Find attached boys and girls rosters.  check for corrections and let me know ASAP.  I would rather not have our staff making corrections or additions on Saturday.   If you have some athletes on the list who will definitely not compete,  email me those.  I am getting tight on bib#.

  We will be wearing bib#.  The bib# will have athletes' names on them.  Make sure you put the correct bib on each athlete.  The new starting line is not as wide as last year.  As of right now plan on lining up single file on the starting line.  Do not ask to switch lanes or anything else in regards to that.
T-shirt designs are on the www.ktccca.org webpage.   click on the Apparel icon and visit Fine Designs website.  they will be printing on site under the 20x30 tent.  They will have a large staff with multiple presses to customize the garments including putting team rosters on the shirts.
    If you walk the course Friday or Saturday morning (note the course will be closed at 9:45 Saturday morning, do not walk on the lines on the ground. It removes the paint.   No walk throughs after 9:45 Saturday morning.  
   Tent city will be in the area where the starting line was last year.   Do not ask to drive your vehicle in to the cross country area on Saturday.  There is no way to drive a vehicle through 5000 athletes and fans safely.  You will carry your tents etc in from the parking area. 
Admission is $5 for everyone.
   Remind your athletes to move quickly all the way to the end of the chute.  Their bib# will be call on a walkie-talkie, recorded on a clipboard and their pulltag on the bottom of the number will be strung at the end of the chute.   They do not have to pull their tag as soon as they get past the finish line.  They need to get down the chute quickly and pull their tag to hand to the stringer at the end of the chute. 
    Concessions will be available.
   Bus parking will be in the fairgrounds.  All other cars follow parking directions.   Tell your bus drivers they will not be able to drop off the athletes and then go back against the traffic flow to Leestown Road to get breakfast.  
   Packets will be available at the rear of the office trailer. Pin bib# on the front.  Do not pin through the pull tag.  Hopefully we will have packets ready on Friday afternoon.
   Top 10 in championship races and team plaques will be presented under the new pavilion in the fairgrounds.  There is a raised platform for a stage their.
